The singer rumoured to convert into Islam for fiancé Wissam Al Mana
It’s official! Janet Jackson announced her plans to marry millionaire Wissam Al Mana. The wedding ceremony is set to take place in the home place of Wissam Doha, Qatar. The date of the event is still unknown, but sources close to the couple say that it would be towards the end of 2013.
The famous singer and her wealthy boyfriend, whose net worth amounts to $200 million, are not stingy when it comes to their wedding ceremony. The engaged couple has invited over 500 guests to their Big Day. Since the wedding will take place on the other side of the world, Janet Jackson and Al Mana will spend about $3 million only for the transportation of their friends and family. In addition, the generous husband-to-be plans to give every guest a brand new $10,000-worth watch. With such a present the poor guests will probably need to dig very deep for a wedding present! Are you invited?
Anyway, that is not the juiciest part of the story. Rumor has it that Janet and her younger fiancé will wed in a traditional Muslim ceremony. So like her legendary brother, Michael Jackson, the singer will convert to Islam. Last year, Janet was even seen wearing a designer Burqa. Well, it seems that Miss Jackson will no longer experience her famous “wardrobe malfunctions”!
We remind you that Janet and Wissam Al Mana got engaged in 2011. The Middle Eastern millionaire proposed with an impressive 15-carat diamond ring. The two lovebirds met 3 years ago in the middle East where the singer had a concert.
Before Wissam, the 46-year-old Janet Jackson had a long relationship with music producer Jermaine Dupri, who was again much younger than the singer.
